Why the name “Lucky Futures”
Luck = when preparation meets opportunity.
For old systems to change, alternatives need to be known for us to redirect our resources, energy, and time, to prepare for when the opportunity for change arises.
Why we exist:
To document the people, projects, and ideas that are already building these alternatives. By learning from what is already happening, connecting people doing this work, and making these possibilities more visible, we can be better prepared for the moments when change becomes possible.
